   Proposal Description:
   This project is a cross-sectional, multi-cohort study aimed to develop biomarkers for Parkinson's disease that will help to identify and replicate diagnostic and progression biomarkers in body fluids, including cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and plasma. One component of the U01 involves the upload of legacy biomarker data, developed through analysis in the Zhang lab, to the PDBP Data Management Resource (DMR). The DMR contains clinical, imaging, molecular, and biological information, which will be shared with the broader research community to promote future discoveries advancing clinical breakthroughs for Parkinson's disease.  De-identified clinical data has been requested to accompany all biomarker data developed from control CSF samples obtained from multiple ADRC sites.
